Bob Jass Batavia-DeKalb welcomes the 45th Anniversary Chevy Camaro
Continuing with the retro comeback of the American muscle car; Chevy has kicked up the level of wow with the 2012 Camaro. The 45th edition will be priced between $38,000-$45,000 and will offer two trim levels to choose from.
To return to the historic roots of this American legend, Chevy is enhancing the exterior of the Camaro with a classic red-and-silver rally stripe, Carbon Flash Metallic paint and a Jet Black interior with the 45th Anniversary logo. Designers at Chevy knew that it takes more than paint to to maintain the image of an automotive icon; with that being said they brought in new 20-inch wheels in dark silver, foglamps and taillamp bezels finished in dark silver, RS-style taillamp lenses, standard rear spoiler and HID headlamps, along with body-color roof molding. Tying in the anniversary package to the interior is flawless with the 2012 Camaro and includes jet black leather with red, white, and blue stitching with 45th anniversary logos and special white gauge inlays.
This will package will be offered in both the 2LT and 2SS trim levels.
The 2LT will include a 323-HP 3.6L V6 which is an 11HP bump over the 2011 model. This new and improved engine will be capable of mega fuel efficiency, reaching 30MPG on the highway. This is achievable by a sleek and aerodynamic body and chassis, smooth and efficient drivetrain, and Direct Injection. These types of mileage figures were unheard of in the muscle car and sports car market not long ago; showing that Chevrolet is making great strides in performance and fuel economy.
If you want more power, you can step to the 2SS trim package. This trim level adds two cylinders to the muscle giving the 45th anniversary Camaro a 6.2L 426-HP V8 that will give any gear head the power they are looking for. All the other details of the 2LT package are included and the 45th anniversary specs remain the same in this higher horsepower model.
