Chevy Introduces an All-New Model to the 2012 Camaro Lineup
Back for its third year after going into hibernation for quite some time, the 2012 Chevy Camaro, now at Elburn’s Bob Jass Chevrolet, returns with a retro-themed styling that’s a modern take on its heritage. If you’re looking for a vehicle that’s going to turn heads around Big Rock, St. Charles, or Geneva, then the new 2012 Camaro is the car for you! This year, Chevy has made some exciting additions. They’ve incorporated a brand new ZL1 model that offers extreme power alongside the standard V6 engine in SS models. Available in both a coupe and a convertible, either choice will make a huge statement.
For 2012, Chevy has given the Camaro a boost in power, allowing the 3.6L V6 engine to kick out 323 hp. The V8 SS Camaro will again put out 426 hp, while the all new ZL1 produces a monstrous 580 hp thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. This new model is by far the star of the 2012 Camaro line-up. Fuel economy estimates for the two-door coupe 1LS come in at 17 mpg city/28 mpg highway.
